Banish boring and ugly tiles! Perfect solution for renters stuck living in boring white boxes. Each Drumstick sticker series centers on a school of design and thought in Egyptian history. Inspired by the tiles of Old Cairo. We love a good arabesque design and this cool colour combo.
THE DETAILS
Drumstick is an Egyptian design company that offers easy to use home solutions, and furniture items, that bring colour and identity to your space. Each collection is inspired by a different Egyptian era of art or design. Drumstick celebrates their Egyptian heritage with a focus on being accessible.
The stickers are more than just fancy designs, they are allusions to a heritage that Egyptians should learn about and take pride in. The American University of Beirut-educated business major Abdel goes on to protest against the way globalisation has homogenised aesthetic ideals.
Dressing up kitchens and bathrooms made sense. “Once you’re stuck with ugly tiles, you’re stuck with ugly tiles," Abdel Rassoul said in reference to first moving into a rented apartment.
We'd love to hear from you if you have any questions.
*We do our very best to make sure colours are as close to real life as possible. Your computer may not. Silly machines.
