Ceramic vessels are concieved with a complementary floral concept. For events they are avaible to rent with KA PAI floral installations, or to own.
PAPER- MACHE OBJECTS + FURNITURE
KA PAI studio creates art objects and furniture with paper-mache in its Brussels atelier. Used to designing large installations the studio began exploring different materials that would enable it to scale up its creations.
KA PAI has developed a unique technique of pulping shreded office paper which is then mixed with bold paint pigments. Objects are built on the foundations of recycled ceramics. Furniture is solidly constructed with recycled cardboard structures.
The studio believes in functional design and is open to commisions.
WORKING WITH RECYCLED MATERIALS IS ONE OF THE MANY WAYS KA PAI TRIES TO MAKE DESIGN MORE POSITIVE AND MEANGINGFUL.
