PAPER- MACHE OBJECTS + FURNITURE
KA PAI studio creates paper-mache art objects, and cardboard furniture in its Brussels atelier. The studio has formulated a unique paper-mache technique. It creates organic forms after pulping shredded offfice paper, mixing it with wallpaper glue and adding bold paint pigments.
Furniture is constructed on solid recycled cardboard foundations which is sourced entirely from local sources. Vessels and objects are built on reject ceramic bases.
The studio is open to commisions and art installations.
